2009 World Skills Competition In Calgary

In early September 2009, 845 competitors for 51 countries around the world converged on Stampede Park in the 40th Biannual WorldSkills Competition. This competition hosted a number of construction related trades competition. Although Canada did not place in these construction trades they did receive medallions of excellence for the work in welding and electrical installations.
